Stunning original architectural model sculpted by RandallFrom
Randall's Lost New York City
Louis Sullivan style panel
My clay model is shown below as a work in progress If you love Chicago "Sullivanesque," this one should be of particular interest. A contractor for a Chicago professional searched high and low for a suitable panel of this style, but was only able to find a few odds and ends for sale at salvage yards and antique stores. The panels were completely unsuitable in quantity, condition, size and configuration. That's where I came in with the option of modelling a custom design for the client in the size and configuration he WANTED! What's more, besides getting what he wants, and the three panels he required installed in a brick wall- the modelling and castings cost only a little more than he was looking at having to pay for the chipped salvaged panels found which were not suitable anyway. The panels are available now, here is cast No 1 in the aged buff yellow finish;

Using reference photos, I selected portions as a visual guide to create this design in a large size single design model. Measurements: approx 19-1/2" high, 19-1/2" wide.
This panel is available in my interior cast-stone, ready to hang on the wall, and in any of my finishes detailed further below.It is also available in exterior concrete, this is 20% more and the shipping is NOT added to the Paypal as it will vary on concrete. Below is a photo from the Chicago client for whom the original model was sculpted for. The photo shows the three concrete panels with an acid stain installed into their brick wall;![]() Randall featured in the New

![]() New designsThe clay models that can be seen by the work in progress photos on a growing number of my store pages such as 120-R "Elizabeth" Webster Hall Griffin, Nr 202-R girl keystone, Griffin panel Nr SH-R etc are obviously NOT simply molded off existing antique pieces, these hand sculpted models are created from scratch by Randall in water clay, and typically take an average of 30 hours to set up, layout and model each. When the clay models are molded here with high quality silicone, interior cast-stone as well as concrete casts are available for clients to purchase. The mold making process usually destroys the unfired clay model. Instead of moulding existing antiques which are limited to what happens to be for sale at a given time at antique and salvage firms, costly to purchase, typically fairly large in scale (meant to be seen from the street 5 floors below) and are more difficult to display in today's smaller homes and apartments; The Lost New York City Collection has been rapidly expanding into creating brand new original models based on authentic 19th century and early 20th century Victorian and Art Deco architectural sculptures. While I do have a small number of direct molded pieces, these are being phased out over time in favor of creating my own original models. There are some 15 designs created by Randall in the last year all in the authentic looking Victorian and Art Deco styles used on these unique 19th and early 20th century buildings.
